Training-day macro cycling
Generated weeks can shift your macros between training and rest days. The day type shows next to each day in Your week.
Your body needs more fuel on hard training days than on rest days. A generated meal week accounts for this by cycling your macros — shifting calories and carbs up on training days and down on rest days — instead of giving you one flat target every day.
Where the day type shows
Open "Your week" on Meals. Each day's header shows three things side by side:
- The date (or "Day 1", "Day 2" if the plan isn't anchored to a start date)
- The day type — a training or rest label
- That day's macro totals — calories, then protein, carbs, and fat
Because each day is solved on its own, two days in the same week can carry different totals. The meals listed under a day already add up to that day's numbers, so just follow the plan day by day.
Macro cycling comes from a generated week (Pro). A free starter plan gives you a single sample day and one set of daily targets rather than day-by-day cycling. The "Daily targets · plan v{n}" card shows your plan's headline targets; individual days in "Your week" may sit above or below it.
