Logging food & tracking macros

Log what you eat in Today's intake — search foods, set grams and a meal slot, and watch your macro bars fill toward target.

The "Today's intake" card on Meals is your daily food log. Everything you add counts toward the macro targets shown at the top of the card.

Log a food

  1. In "Today's intake", type a food into the search box (for example "chicken breast") and click "Search".
  2. Pick the match you want — each result shows calories and macros per 100g.
  3. Set the portion in grams (1–5,000) and choose a meal slot: breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack.
  4. Click "Add". Your entry appears under its slot and the macro bars update.

To delete an entry, click "remove" next to it. If nothing matches your search, try a simpler term — the food library grows as meal plans resolve their ingredients.

Log a planned meal in one tap

On any meal in "Your week", click "Log" to add that exact meal — with its precise macros — to today's diary. Your totals update immediately, no searching required.

Your macro bars

Four bars — Cal, Protein, Carbs, and Fat — track your running totals against target. Each fills as you log, and shows a checkmark once you reach the target for that macro.

Targets come from your current meal plan. Without a plan, they're estimated from your body metrics on profile (weight, height, age) — add those or pick a plan to see targets. The card labels which source is in use.
