What changes when you connect a coach

A coach adds session reviews, notes, form-check feedback, check-ins, and messaging on top of the self-serve engine you keep — bounded by what you share.

Connecting a coach doesn't replace anything. You keep the entire self-serve engine — adaptive programming, your PR ledger, meal planning, logging, and analytics. A coach adds a human layer on top, and only sees what you choose to share.

What a coach adds

  • Session reviews — your coach looks over what you logged and how it went.
  • Notes and feedback — written guidance on your training.
  • Form-check feedback — record a lift from your Today session and your coach reviews your technique. See Uploading a form-check video.
  • Check-ins — your coach can assign recurring check-ins you complete at Check-in.
  • Messaging — a direct thread with your coach at Messages.

What a coach can (and can't) change

Your coach works from your existing program — they can adjust the programming or make targeted, surgical tweaks to your active plan. They can't create your program from scratch: your first program still comes from you, whether you generate one or buy one from the store.

Everything a coach can see or act on is bounded by your sharing toggles. Turn a category off — or remove the coach — and access ends immediately. See Choosing what your coach can see.
