Setting up your training profile (onboarding)

A walkthrough of onboarding, where you set your goal, body metrics, sport, schedule, equipment, the health check, waiver, diet, and allergens.

After you sign up as an athlete, onboarding builds the profile your program and meals are generated from. It comes in short segments — a quick funnel first, then a few slices you finish from your dashboard when they're relevant.

First: the quick funnel

  • "Your goal" — improve general health, build muscle, lose fat, or improve endurance.
  • "About your body" — height, body weight, biological sex, and date of birth (for your calorie targets), plus optional body-fat % and goal weight. Toggle lb / ft-in or kg / cm.
  • "How you eat" — omnivore or vegetarian, to match your starter meals.

Finish and you land on your dashboard at /today.

Tailor your training

In "Tailor your training" (/onboarding?step=training), set your sport, experience level, training days per week, session length, where you train (full gym, home, or bodyweight), and any movements to work around. Session length defaults to 90 minutes if you skip it.

Health check & waiver

Before a program can generate, finish "Quick health check" and the waiver (/onboarding?step=gates). The health check is a short PAR-Q+-style readiness screen — answering "Yes" to any item asks you to acknowledge you'll consult a physician first. The waiver requires you to scroll through it, confirm you're 18 or older, and agree to the terms.

Personalize your meals

In "Personalize your meals" (/onboarding?step=meals), add optional life-stage details and any food allergens — allergens are then avoided in every meal suggestion.

Under 18? A parent or legal guardian must review and sign the waiver before you can train. This is where your goal, equipment, diet, and allergens live — not on /profile. To change them later, see Updating your goals, equipment, diet & allergens.
